Matthew Matt James was born in North Carolina on December 5 1991. Matthew Matt James is the mixed race son of Manny James (of Jamaican descent) as well as Patty James. He is the son of Nigerian and his mother caucasian American. His father is Nigerian, and his mother caucasian American. He completed his studies at Sanderson High School in 2010 and then attended Wake Forest University, where the Bachelor's Degree was awarded to him in Economics in 2015. James first gained popularity as a reality Actor in The Bachelorette. The Bachelor season 25 premiered in 2021. The next Bachelor was James who became the one of the first African American to play the leading part. James has the right look for the part. He's beautiful and tall with a an innate sense of humor. Rachael Krokconnell won the show because James decided to enter into an affair with her. The following year, in 2021, he got a partner with the well-known dancer Arnold to compete in the season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James and Arnold finished 12th.
