Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress who works on TV and in films is best known for films such as Rush as well as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. She was the sole child of Romanian actors Valentin Platareu. Alexandra started her showbiz career in the early years of her life. When she turned sixteen, she had secured the leading roles in numerous TV dramas. Her portrayal of Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, from Downfall (an Oscar-nominated historic war film) was critically as well as critically acclaimed commercially.
